Busselton Jetty Swim

Details: The Be Active Busselton Jetty Swim 2013 will be held over 2 days, with fun activities and family entertainment for all ages. The swim itself will take place on the morning of Sunday 10th February 2013.
Registrations open on 01 October 2012, with those who enter before 30 November 2012, going into the draw to win a fantastic prize. Entry is still only $40.00 per person and is one of the best value for money events in the region.
The course takes participants around the 3.6 km of Busselton’s iconic Jetty, in the tranquil waters of Geographe Bay. Individuals and teams of two and four persons will take part in one of South West WA’s most famous sporting events. Considered the Paris to Dakar of the Asia Pacific region, the event is renowned as one of the toughest and most challenging motoring events in the world.
Off-road motoring enthusiasts (motorbikes only) can participate in the non-competitive category, Adventure Tour, to experience the event and explore Western Australia.

Multiplex Avon Descent

Details: The Avon Descent is Western Australia’s own unique sporting event that attracts competitors and spectators from throughout Australia and overseas. Competitors challenge the Avon and Swan rivers in a variety of paddle and power craft in an exciting two-day time trial over 134 gruelling kilometres. The action packed white water race is a great event for spectators.
Low water levels for the 2010 event resulted in an exhausting race for competitors, but great fun for spectators. The 2012 race is sure to have competitors keen to come back again to conquer the Avon and Swan Rivers.

Quit Forest Rally

Details: Quit Forest Rally is the Western Australia round of the Australian Rally Championship. It attracts Australia's best rally drivers for a weekend of fast and challenging competition. The rally also has a category for motorbikes.
The rally is hosted in the picturesque seaside town of Busselton and the historic township of Nannup.
Spectators are able to get up close to the action at Barnard Park on Friday evening and then again around Nannup over the weekend. The main street of Nannup is turned into a rally Service Park over the weekend giving everybody a chance to get to see the cars being worked on, talk to the crews and enjoy the local cafes.
