Spencers Brook Tavern
Experience Perth - Spencers Brook
Return to Country Pub list

The Spencers Brook Tavern was built in 1884 by local pioneer Thomas Wilding primarily because the railway line was going through and there were thoughts it would be the major townsite along the line. The east /west railway line has been closed for some years now but the tavern is still a very popular stop off point for tourists and day trippers exploring the Avon Valley because of its close proximity to Perth. Still under restoration the tavern keeps evolving and now boasts a lush and shady beer garden and rustic bar area. A great home style roast dinner is available every Sunday [bookings advisable] and a tasty snack menu is available at all times.
